Andanigowda C. J. is a dedicated social development professional with 17 years of service at JRDT. Throughout his journey, he has played a significant role in implementing community-based initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of children, women, farmers, and rural communities across Karnataka.
He began his career with Janaraksha and, through his dedication to community service, has become a valuable member of the organization. His experience includes children's education, women's empowerment, lake rejuvenation, plantation drives, and maternal and child care programmes. He has built strong community relationships and contributed to the successful implementation of grassroots development initiatives.
Over the years, Andanigowda has worked across Mandya, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Tumakuru, Bengaluru South, Dakshina Kannada, and Mysuru districts, gaining extensive experience in rural development, community engagement, and environmental conservation. His patience, effective communication, and problem-solving skills have earned him the trust and respect of communities, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Coming from a farming background, he is passionate about sustainable agriculture, plantation initiatives, and natural resource conservation. He believes that empowering rural communities begins with protecting the environment, strengthening livelihoods, and encouraging community participation.
Outside his professional responsibilities, Andanigowda enjoys travelling, connecting with people, and participating in social service activities. His humble nature, helping attitude, and unwavering commitment to community development continue to inspire positive and sustainable change.
